C&M Facilities Scotland Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use our services or visit our website.

Contact details including name, email address, phone number and postal address; company information for business clients; site locations and access details; CCTV footage from our security systems; payment and billing information; correspondence and communications with us.

We use your information to provide and improve our services, process payments and invoices, communicate about your account or enquiries, comply with legal obligations, and send service updates (with your consent).

4. CCTV & Security Footage

CCTV footage collected by our security systems is processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. Footage is retained for a maximum of 30 days unless required for investigation or legal purposes. Access to footage is restricted to authorised personnel only.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the ICO.

Terms & Conditions

1. Services

These terms apply to all services provided by C&M Facilities Scotland Ltd including security, fencing, clearance, pest control and multi-trade works. Specific terms for individual services may be set out in your service agreement or quotation.

2. Quotations & Pricing

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices exclude VAT unless specified. Additional works outside the original scope will be quoted separately before commencement.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date unless agreed otherwise. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.

4. Cancellation

Cancellation terms vary by service type. Equipment hire cancellations require 48 hours notice. Security guarding cancellations require 7 days notice. Please refer to your service agreement for specific terms.

5. Liability

We maintain appropriate insurance for all services provided. Our liability is limited to the value of the contract unless otherwise required by law. We are not liable for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Scottish law and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.


Environmental Policy

ISO 14001:2015 Certified

C&M Facilities Scotland Ltd is committed to minimising our environmental impact and operating in a sustainable manner. We maintain ISO 14001:2015 certification for our environmental management system.

Our Commitments

We commit to complying with all applicable environmental legislation and regulations; reducing waste, emissions and resource consumption; maximising recycling and diversion from landfill; using sustainable materials where practicable; training employees in environmental awareness; setting and reviewing environmental objectives annually; and continuously improving our environmental performance.

Waste Management

As a licensed waste carrier, we ensure all waste is disposed of legally and responsibly. We prioritise recycling and recovery over disposal, segregate waste streams appropriately, and provide full documentation including waste transfer notes.

Carbon Reduction

We are working to reduce our carbon footprint through route optimisation for our vehicles, investment in solar-powered CCTV equipment, use of hybrid and electric vehicles where possible, and reducing energy consumption in our offices.


Health & Safety Policy

ISO 45001:2018 Certified

The health, safety and welfare of our employees, contractors and anyone affected by our activities is our highest priority. We maintain ISO 45001:2018 certification for our occupational health and safety management system.

Policy Statement

C&M Facilities Scotland Ltd will provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment; ensure all work activities are carried out safely; provide adequate training, instruction and supervision; provide appropriate personal protective equipment; maintain all equipment in safe working condition; conduct regular risk assessments; investigate and learn from all incidents; consult with employees on health and safety matters; and comply with all relevant health and safety legislation.

Risk Assessment

We conduct thorough risk assessments for all activities and provide RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) to clients upon request. Site-specific assessments are completed before commencing work.

Training

All employees receive appropriate health and safety training for their role including induction training, task-specific training, first aid and fire safety, manual handling, working at height (where applicable), and regular refresher training.

Responsibilities

Ultimate responsibility for health and safety rests with the Directors. Day-to-day management is delegated to supervisors and managers. All employees have a responsibility to work safely and report hazards.
